Student Involvement

Are you interested in helping create a strong, vibrant, local food system?

New Entry provides a living laboratory to apply classroom knowledge and develop applicable skills for students and others wanting to have public impact and help transform our local and regional food systems. New Entry interns have done research, developed educational guides and training curriculum, assisted in delivering curriculum for our Farm Business Planning Course, created marketing materials for the Food Hub, provided technical assistance, and identified land for potential farms, developed monitoring and evaluation plans for New Entry programs, researched farm labor regulations, and much, much more! Interns work at the Tufts University offices in downtown Boston or in Beverly at our office, Food Hub, or incubator farms. For New Entry, the outcomes of prior student internships can be significant.
