Please make time to stop by Saturday, Aug. 10 and check out our new home! This will your chance to tour our incubator farms and Food Hub operations and sample the bounty coming from the fields at the New Entry Sustainable Farming Project.
A farmers market will be held in the 1882 barn designed by renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted and will highlight our six resident incubator farmers and their produce cultivated on the Moraine Farm fields. The Parfait Ice Cream Truck of Lexington will be on hand serving homemade soft serve ice cream, paletas, cold-brew coffee and kombucha!
The New Entry's USDA Certified Organic demonstration plot will also be open for viewing, offering a showcase of vegetable plantings and organic farming methods. New Entry Farmers will be on hand to share a fresh-picked veggie, answer questions, and talk about the various aspects of beginner farmer training and all things related to sustainable farm cultivation.
Hope to see you there!
