New Team Member: Josiah Todd

Thursday, May 15, 2014 // Staff

Josiah Todd has joined the New Entry team as the Produce Delivery Driver for the World PEAS Food Hub.

Before and during the pick-up and packing of produce from our various farming partners around the Greater Merrimack Valley, Josiah performs quality assessments, troubleshooting, and provides feedback and educational support to ensure our standard for fresh and healthy produce is always met. Working with volunteers to maintain a timely and efficient distribution process and provide customer service to CSA shareholders, Josiah is a visible member of the New Entry team. In addition to his responsibilities with World PEAS, Josiah is assisting Eero Ruuttila, New Entry’s Technical Assistant Coordinator, with maintenance tasks at our incubator farm sites in Dracut.

Josiah graduated with majors in English and Religious Studies from Stetson University in Florida, where he also served as president and vice president of the on-campus organic gardening club, Hatter Harvest. While attending university, he also volunteered with the Alliance for International Reforestation, Inc. in Guatemala in 2011 working to benefit and educate rural community farming families in agricultural and reforestation methods.

Please join the New Entry community in welcoming Josiah as our new team member!
